Course overview

Snowboarding Courses for Beginners and Intermediate

It's actually harder to learn snowboarding than skiing, but easier to master — there aren't many tricks to it, it's mostly about how well you balance and stay in control of your body.

Our snowboard instructors are trained to International Avalanche Safety Standards by top guides from New Zealand, with more than 10 years of snowboarding experience in the Himalayan mountains.

Every course includes

  • Pick and drop from your hotel to the slopes
  • Snowboarding equipment needed for the course
  • Certified Snowboard Instructor with First Aid certification

  1. 1

    Day 1

Bunny slopes. Pick-up at 9:45, gear from the Global Ski Shop, 1.5 hours of theory then practicals from 12:00pm on balance, control, and gliding. No ski lift access for snowboarders on the bunny slopes — boards are carried up.

  2. 2

    Day 2

Heel and toe turns once you can glide on flat terrain, with ongoing checks on balance and control.

  3. 3

    Day 3

Focus on your specific needs for speed, turns, and control.

  4. 4

    Day 4

Intermediate slopes, with a focus on body positioning and toe/heel turns on a steeper gradient.

  5. 5

    Day 5

  6. 6

    Day 6
