We understand that carrying your own ski gear and equipment can be too ambitious at times and heavy on your pockets, especially for those traveling domestically. Sometimes, you might want to travel light and not carry them with you at all.
Our Gulmarg Ski Resort and our Global Ski Shop will help you rent your ski gear conveniently. Here is all the information on how and where to find your ski and snowboard gear requirements – ski shop, ski rentals, locations, and rates. We can also help you out with safety gear, camping gear, and any other requirements that you might have.
You don’t want to bring your own gear as it’s too inconvenient for you to carry on a flight? Or simply you don’t have some professional powder-equipment. No worries! We have a fully equipped Ski shop located at our Global Ski Lodge (directly at our office in Gulmarg). You can rent everything from our Ski Shop. Starting from Powder skis to Snowboards, Transceivers, Shovels & Probe. But no worries if not, we also offer a huge variety on different ski and snowboard boots. Our gear is suitable for kids starting age 3 onward to all adult sizes.
No shoe, no show
If you have your own boots we would highly recommend to drag them along. Even if we have a big plenty of choice, it is hard to find the right shoe. Everybody knows a pinching shoe is annoying and we want you to have your best days in your life.
Gear for Kids
Our special social outreach. We give free gear to Kids from Kashmir. Tourism is very important for the economic. Many of the children could get a job in the ski business because of our free gear and free ski lessons. If you have any old gear for children at home, we would be happy if you bring them along. Surely we can find a child, that will love it. If you have any questions about it, send us a mail.
Rate of rental equipment per day for the winter 2019. Local students will be given a 50% discount.
Ski Rental in Gulmarg- Global Ski Shop
If you do not feel like carrying your skis all the way to Gulmarg or you do not have ski gear of your own, we’ve got you covered. Renting ski gear is possible in Gulmarg.
Gulmarg Ski Resort has an in-house ski shop called the Global Ski Shop. We are located in Global Lodge close to the Gulmarg market.
The ski rental facilities in Gulmarg, Global Ski Shop offer one of the best ski gear and equipment for rentals. The ski shop is looked after by professional management and well-trained staff who are there to help you fully understand the need and impact of the right gear and equipment for skiing. Overall, the correct choices in your lives take you a long way and you don’t want to end up ruining your holiday on an ill-fitted ski.

Ski Gear and Equipment – To Rent
Our Global Ski shop makes renting skis and snowboards easy. We provide all ski & snowboard gear and equipment.
Renting a ski (for a day) can cost up to INR 500-1500 depending on the type of skis and the user- powder skis, backcountry skis/ touring skis, freeride skis, etc.
Similarly, renting a snowboard (for a day) will cost you about INR 700-1400.
Other ski gear includes A V Transceiver, Goggles, Gloves, Shovel & Probe, Snowshoes, ABS Backpack, Ski dress, Helmet, Boots, and Poles.
We also have Ice Skates for those interested.
Our packages also offer senior guides, junior guides, and instructors if required.
Skis and ski gears are expensive and very difficult for us to acquire. Therefore, we make sure we take exceptional care of our skis, snowboards, and gear.
Any damage caused to our ski gear and equipment by the users is, therefore, liable to compensate us for the damage.

Snowboard Rental in Gulmarg- Global Ski Shop
Renting a snowboard and snowboard gear has never been this easy!
Much like our Ski Rental options, our Ski Shop has snowboard gear for rentals as well. The snowboard and snowboard gears on rent in Gulmarg are decent enough to get you through. The in-house Ski shop, Global Ski Shop has a range of snowboard gears to choose from.

Gear for Kids
Kashmir Ski School organizes a Special Social Outreach Programme where Free courses are given to kids from Kashmir. Since tourism in Kashmir is a booming industry we believe that our small initiative can enable the children of the future to further their skills and land entrepreneurial opportunities or even participate as athletes at national and international events.
We believe that a dream is never too big. And if one can dream it, they can do it.
With this motto, we hope that our programme will garner more attention and be successful in our objectives.
