Our Gulmarg Ski Resort and our Global Ski Shop will help you rent your ski gear conveniently. Here is all the information on how and where to find your ski and snowboard gear — locations and rates. We can also help you out with safety gear, camping gear, and any other requirements you might have.

Ski rental in Gulmarg — Global Ski Shop
If you do not feel like carrying your skis all the way to Gulmarg, or you don't have ski gear of your own, we've got you covered. Renting ski gear is possible in Gulmarg.
Gulmarg Ski Resort has an in-house ski shop called the Global Ski Shop. We're located in Global Lodge, close to the Gulmarg market.
The ski rental facilities at Global Ski Shop offer some of the best ski gear and equipment for rental, looked after by professional management and well-trained staff who'll help you understand the impact of the right gear on your holiday.
Renting a ski (for a day) can cost up to ₹500–1,500 depending on the type — powder skis, backcountry/touring skis, freeride skis, and so on. Renting a snowboard (for a day) costs about ₹700–1,400.
Other gear available includes AV transceivers, goggles, gloves, shovels & probes, snowshoes, ABS backpacks, ski dress, helmets, boots, and poles. We also have ice skates for those interested, plus senior guides, junior guides, and instructors if required.

Our Social Outreach Programme
Kashmir Ski School organizes a Special Social Outreach Programme where free courses are given to kids from Kashmir. Since tourism in Kashmir is a booming industry, we believe our small initiative can help the children of the future further their skills and land entrepreneurial opportunities, or even participate as athletes at national and international events.

Locals of Kashmir receive an additional 50% discount on ski equipment and gear. Skis and gear are expensive and difficult for us to acquire, so we take exceptional care of them — any damage caused by users is liable for compensation.
